Professional Background
Dr. Bruce Dornn is a Doctor of Optometry, educator, and international lecturer with more than a decade of experience training healthcare professionals in clinical eye care and practice development.
He graduated from the New England College of Optometry in Boston in 1997 after completing an honors degree in Microbiology at the University of Manitoba. Following graduation, Dr. Dornn practiced optometry in Denver, Colorado before returning to Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he founded Dornn Eye Care and developed a specialized Dry Eye Center of Excellence.
Dr. Dornn is board-certified in both Canada and the United States and is an active member of several professional organizations.

Education and Professional Training
Dr. Dornn has spent more than 12 years delivering professional education programs for healthcare providers. Over that time, he has trained thousands of professionals, including optometrists, ophthalmologists, nurses, technicians, and clinical staff.
He has delivered over 10,000 hours of education and clinical instruction, providing practical training focused on improving diagnostic skills, patient care, and clinical practice management.
Innovation and Research
In addition to his clinical and educational work, Dr. Dornn has contributed to innovation in dry eye treatment and optometry practice development.
He is the co-author of The Envision Book – The Dry Eye Treatment Revolution With Energy Based Devices, written in collaboration with Dr. Stephen Mulholland. The book focuses on advanced, non-invasive technologies used in the treatment of chronic dry eye disease and Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD).
Dr. Dornn also founded Eye-Revive Inc., a company focused on dry eye products distributed through optometric practices.
